Newcastle is a small town in northern England mostly known for its Northumbria University.
You will need few days only to discover it, but the main point is it's train connection to easily get to Scotland.
However, it's a good opportunity to try the English lifestyle !

Aix en Provence

Aix en Provence is the noisy place you will appreciate if you are looking for the Champs Elysees of Paris in southern France.
Streets are full of foreign students, bars, and restaurants.
It's a pleasure to have a break here.

Fontainebleau castle

The Fontainebleau castle is located at south from Paris. You can easily get there through RER train (B line). Half a day will be totally enough for a visit of the castle (with audio-guide) and its garden.

Castellane HD

Castellane is a village crossed by a river, with a church on the top of a high rock.
