Tsukiji fish market (HD)

I remember this day, because it was as hell !
Everybody told me "You should go to the fish market at 5am and see the biding !".
So I woke up at 3 am, but nobody told me the Metro station will open at 5:30 !
Once I face to the biding room, a security guard tells me I can't go in because of safety reasons.... Anyway, It was a big dynamic place, with many sushi shops around for degustation.

Imperial Palace (HD)

A big historic place located at the center of Tokyo. Here is also the break time place of business men.

Koishikawa Korakuen Garden (HD)

I'm still can't remember the name, but I can say it's my favorite garden in Tokyo, even if it's smaller than the Imperial Palace.

Akihabara (HD)

Are you geek ? Do you like ramen shops ? Do you want to try some Maid Cafe ? Are you interested in electronic shopping ? Akihabara is waiting for you !

Minami-Senju (HD)

It was the end of my vacation in Tokyo, then I had no idea about where to go. I finally found a tourist map at my hotel's information desk about the place around and I got an occupation for half a day.

Asakusa (HD)

From my hotel located in Minami-Senju, I can walk on the river side and arrive in a big park which is the entrance of Asakusa. There is a big temple, it's garden, and its long goods and food market.
Around it, you will find many shops about traditional clothes and accessories

Japanese new year 2011 (HD)

I was lucky to live this experience.
Japanese new year will start around a temple. You can drink hot sake and wait close to a fire to keep you warm. Around 11pm, monks will start the ceremony into the temple. Everybody will pray together until 11:45 pm.
Then everybody will out and go to a big gong. Monks will say a last pray, and make the gong ring at midnight. And everybody will make a queue and give a donation to the temple to make a wish and make the gong ring.
After it, I walked in Ueno park, and I could hear all the gongs of every temples ringing in the night. I will never forget it.

Roppongi (HD)

Come here if you want to see the Tokyo Tower. I just think it's a copy of Eiffel tower (mostly by night), a bit bigger, and about 50 years old only. Roppongi is also a business district, and I could find an excellent ramen shop of Tokyo (at least my favorite one)

Odaiba (HD)

Odaiba is an artificial island where you can find a big shopping mall, a theme park, and the building of Fuji TV. You can buy a ticket to visit the building, and up into a titanium ball from where you can have a full view of Tokyo from south.

Ueno (HD)

Ueno... it's park... it's zoo... it's market... it's restaurants...it's temples... How many times did I need to go back to Ueno within my 3 weeks vacation ? This area of Tokyo is the heart of traditional Japan.

Shinjuku-Ikebukuro (HD)

Shinjuku is an active place on evening (mostly on week-ends). Young people will go out and eat, drink, and go to the night clubs. You have to go here to see Tokyo by night !

I went to Ikebukuro to see the japanese houses. I'm just surprised to find some houses in a capital city.

Monkey show

There was a monkey show at the feet of Tokyo Tower when I was leaving.
